has anyone figured out how to set up the pulse job on their Apple Watch? I just got mine not too long ago and I'm finding navigating and customizing a bit tricky.

Sure! You just need to go to the watch app on your iphone and select Sounds & Haptic. From there you can adapt vibration settings.

To add to that, make sure you're in the sounds & Haptics segment, then you can see vibration where you can enable or disable pulse alerts.

Here's a detailed list:
  1. open the Watch app on your iphone.
  2. tap 'my Watch. '
  3. select 'sounds & Haptics. '
  4. modify the 'alert Volume' to your preference.
  5. toggle 'haptic Alerts' on.

If you want the watch to pulse more noticeably, bear in mind there is an selection called Prominent Haptic which you may want to turn on. It pre-alerts you with a mild vibration before an additional notification comes in.
