hey everyone! I'm quite new to violin playing and have been practicing a lot latterly. I'm curious on vibrato tactics. What are the best methods or techniques to nail vibrato?

Vibrato is a wonderful technique to master, it exactly brings the music alive! The common types are the arm, wrist, and finger vibratos. In my opinion, the best way to practice is to start slow, like with metronome pulses, then gradually speed up as you gain control.

Delighted to see an additional violin enthusiast! For vibrato, I'd suggest starting with wrist vibrato. It's oftentimes considered the easiest to control and most all- natural to produce, specially for beginners.
