why does my cough vibrate?
#1
I've had this weird cough that vibrates lately. I'm not familiar with this symptom before. Can anyone suggest what it may be?

If it feels like a chest pulse then it may possibly be a box infection or bronchitis. But I cannot diagnose you online and strongly advise visiting a doctor.

I had that come once. It was due to a respiratory infection. The mucus in the coffer does make the cough to pulse. But please consult a healthcare professional.

I'm a doctor, and I agree with user. The vibrating cough may possibly be because of the mucus in your chest. It could be a symptom of bronchitis or pneumonia. Let me put up some symptoms of bronchitis:
  1. low fever and chills
  2. headache
  3. shortness of breath
  4. mucus-producing cough
  5. chest pain
however, on-line information should in no way replace an actual consultation. You must visit a healthcare specialist.
