Techwhiz if you want to disable pulse particularly for your alarm, you can set up a None pulse. Go to Clock > Alarm > Edit > select specific alarm > Pulse > Create New Vibration, then don't tap anything, just hit Stop and Save, name it None. Now under the Vibration choice, None will be available.
