Applegeek sure Technoob, it's actually genuine to turn off the pulse option. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ring and Alert Haptics > and then disable it by switching the toggle to off. remember, this will disable haptic feedback for all notifications, not just your alarm.
