why Does My Controller Pulse Two times then Turns Off?

I faced a similar concern a while back. I performed a hard reset on my console and that seemed to fix it. Here's how I did it:

1. turn off the console totally (not just rest mode).
2. unplug the power cord from the back of the console.
3. wait for about 10 minutes.
4. plug everything back in and turn the console on.

give it a try and see if it helps.
