Hey! In basic terms, Falsetto is a vocal technique frequently used to get to high notes, while Vibrato is a technique which creates a slender pitch variation to upgrade vocal expressiveness.

Right! And just to expand upon that, falsetto is considered to be more breathy and less resonant than standard singing. On the more hand, vibrato is when the pitch of the note wavers rapidly back and forth providing it a kind of 'shaking' sounds.

A good way,, is to listen for the breathy, less resonant sound for falsetto. For vibrato, listen for a note that would seem to 'wobble'. Here's an example list of songs where you can find each:
  • falsetto: Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees
  • vibrato: Rolling in the Deep by Adele

Also, everyone's tongue and skill are diverse. Some singers might have a very obvious vibrato, while other individuals may well have a softer, less perceptible vibrato.
