To be honest, I think it's a bit of both. I mean the tail is absolutely aesthetically pleasing, especially if you're into certain types of play, but the plug itself still serves its aim.

Completely agree with user. The tail can increase the visible element during play, but at the end of the day, it's still a butt plug.
